Who and what is beixo?
beixo is part of Urban Bike Concepts in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We are a young and dynamic company who's goal it is to market innovative biking concepts and accessories. Every product we introduce is progressive and meets high quality standards and is above all beautifully made. This is also the case with beixo: it provides a solution to a long life challenging problem: how to handle a folding bike without getting all smudged and greasy?
The traditional folding bike with a chain drive often lacks a proper chain guard which makes it difficult to fold without getting your hands dirty. String drives doe not offer a good solution either, since this eventually will give smear. A closed cardan drive is the only way to go to have a truly smudge free folding bike.
The smart headlight: no need for batteries! Just plug it in at home and it will charge itself right away. May also come in handy as a flashlight.
The lock2 bike lock is the best lock for beixo. It is truly hated by every bike thief in the world. The designer did thorough research into all technical possibilities and incorporated his findings in the lock2.
the beixo business model
We believe in the power of the internet! We use the most efficient business model i.e. the direct sale from producer to customer. This model enables us to keep prices low because there are no costs of personnel, storage, building costs etc. If beixo were to be sold in regular shops, the price would go up 80%.
